Policies & FAQ’s

When should I book?
We recommended that you book as soon as you are interested and have a party date as we can only lock you in for a party with a deposit.
Due to Friday, Saturday nights and the school holidays being optimal for sleepovers, we often book up months in advance.
Book early to avoid disappointment!
How much is required to book?
We require a 50% deposit of the package price which must be paid at the time of booking. The final balance is due 7 days prior to the party and must be paid by credit/debit or PayPal.
How do I book?
Fill out our Camp F.L.Y request form with your preferred dates and times and we will return your enquiry within 24 hours. Most often sooner! You’ll also receive an email to make your deposit if your preferred date and time is available.
What if I need to cancel?
Cancellations can be done 2 weeks prior to the party. The 50% deposit/retainer is non-refundable, but it can be applied towards the cost of another party if held within 90 days of the original party date. If you choose to cancel our services for ANY reason ie, inclement weather, your deposit/retainer will not be refunded. Camp F.L.Y. Slumber Parties has the right to cancel a party at anytime should an emergency issue arise, with any staff or otherwise.
What areas of Connecticut do you serve?
We travel all over Connecticut. There will be a travel fee for areas more than 40 miles away from zip codes 06450 and 06052. Travel fee starting at $40 and goes up depending on far we have to travel over 40 miles. We only travel in Connecticut. We may, however, travel slightly outside of Connecticut but we must be contacted well in advance to discuss before booking.
How is the teepee and bedding cleaned?

All bedding is thoroughly cleaned and prepared for each sleepover using sensitive laundry detergent and antibacterial cleanser. 

Mattresses, cushions, and decorative items are always disinfected and spot cleaned.
We do not provide pillows for hygiene purposes just pillowcases.
What’s included in my package?
Each package includes a teepee, twin size air mattress, fitted sheet, light blanket, throw pillows, battery operated fairy lights, breakfast trays, sleep masks/dog tag, hygiene kit, lanterns or candle holders and additional décor and bunting.
Is there anything we get to keep?
Of course! Each child gets to keep a sleep mask (Girls) or a dog tag (boys). They also each get a hygiene kit that includes a toothbrush, facecloth, and toothpaste. The birthday child gets a little gift from us as well.
Is there a recommended age for a slumber party?
Kids are normally ready to try slumber parties or sleepover parties from the age of 6 and above. Our packages are suitable for ages up to 16. Kids 6 and younger require additional supervision and assistance. Our tents are not suitable for children under 4 years of age.
How long does it take to setup a Camp F.L.Y slumber party?
It depends on how many guests and tents are needed. It can take up to 2 hours or so, sometimes less.
How much space do I need?

We recommend a large space to host your party. A cleared-out den, living room, basement or large hotel suite is ideal.

The overall width of the tent with twin sized blowup mattress is approximately 4 feet wide per tent. The length of each mattress is 75” long. We generally set up the tents next to each other or opposite of each other, depending on the space. Please make sure you have an open area, a clutter free room, and a safe space for the kids to sleep. We do not move furniture so please make sure there is nothing in the room that will interfere with or delay your setup time. It is your responsibility to make sure there is enough space to accommodate the tents with an open and unobstructed walkway to allow your guests to get in and out of the tents safely.  If you are not sure that you have enough space please feel free to email us a picture of the intended space and measure, measure, measure! :)
